Named after the original Tabacalera La Matilde that dates back to 1876 in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Matilde Renacer Robusto definitely shows its roots in this age old tradition of cigar making. The Renacer is wrapped in a golden brown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a deliciously robust blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco's for the filler. This blend of some of the best tobaccos creates a palate pleasing combination of flavors including a butterscotch like sweetness, a slight pepper, and notes of leather and wood. This Dominican masterpiece will not disappoint even the pickiest of palates.
