This medium to full-strength cigar offers notes of sweetness, spice, and earth underscored by a rich creaminess. The cigar’s light-tan Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper covers a USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and filler leaves from Esteli and Jalapa, which are two of Nicaragua’s top-tobacco producing regions. The Aksum line is the first time Foundation Cigars has developed a blend using Ecuadorian Sumatra tobacco. The cigars are handmade at AJ Fernandez’s factory in Nicaragua.
